Behind the brand...
#BlackBoyJoy® Apparel is a lifestyle athleisure wear brand with a mission to promote positive imagery while celebrating Black culture in an empowering way. We offer a variety of options for every season including hoodies, sweatshirts, joggers, tank tops, t-shirts, crop tops, bags, hats & more. Our goal is to use our platform to create a new narrative in media about Black men and women through highlighting Black culture in fashion.
"My vision was to promote positive imagery while celebrating my community in an empowering way. The idea was birthed from a song, #BlackBoyJoy, I wrote and produced in 2016. As a working musician and artist, I wanted the message of that song to resonate with people beyond the music. I also felt there was a need for more black-owned, street style apparel options in the market, much like what I experienced growing up (i.e. FUBU, Phat Farm, Sean John). My hope is to use this platform to create a new narrative, bring awareness to issues specific to Black men and women, and highlight Black culture as a whole."

All products are made from premium, high-quality materials. Soft, comfortable fabric and fit. True to size; for slimmer fit choose a size smaller than normal.
Cool iron inside-out if necessary. Do not iron decoration. Do not dry clean.
Machine wash cold, inside-out, gentle cycle with mild detergent and similar colors. Use non-chlorine bleach, only when necessary. No fabric softeners. Tumble dry low, or hang-dry for longest life.
